European Ship Simulator. We're pleased to announce that European Ship Simulator will release as an Early Access title in August. The objective for us is to take key constructive criticism and shape the game with community feedback.

First, I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved with the game and I would like to quell some fears that our departure from Early Access means we have stopped supporting the game. Right now, the game is complete, in a state that the game works, you have twenty missions, you have several ships and you can complete these missions.When claims over the game being “unfinished” arise, I can imagine that you are expecting more content than has been delivered.

In response, I can confirm that the game will continue to evolve. The core game is complete. But what comes next is the evolution.As I’ve stated before, the full release is what we deem a stage where the game is complete enough to release for a second platform (MAC) and to make the mission editor public, I have no intention of stopping work on this game in the near future.I will be populating a new development board with features that the community can vote for, alongside information on what is currently being developed. Expect this to go live in a few days.The term Early Access can mean that a project can be in development indefinitely. For us, we are approaching it as a living game where the base game is complete, but we want to evolve for the foreseeable future.We are starting out small. We have to, as it is impossible for us to reach some of the heights set by other games at this moment in time. This is the foundation of which we can build and improve upon, a comment I have made several times in the forums months and months before releasing as a full release.

It opens the very first mission again. GROUNDHOG DAY!!! I don't want to have to play each mission from beginning to end, especially when there are long boring times when there is nothing to do but watch the boat make slow progress over an empty sea.

Can't even walk around and get different views. Can't zoom in on other ships or view the ports in greater detail. Have the developers never seen the original Ship Sims to see what can be done???? I'm surprised Steam want their name associated with this program.

I see from the screenshots that many people have taken to sinking their ships. I don't blame them. I am very disappointed over the game! I have bin playing the game from the first day of the early access stage and i gave som feedback to what was needed in the simulator to CALL it a simulator like moring lines to dock the ship an to be able to stear the ship from the bridge wing but nothing has happened:( yes you have given os add on BUT when the azipod dissent turn 360 degrees an the ship dynamic dissent reflect of the real deal then you can't call it a simulator!

Sad to say it but Vstep Ship simulator extreme is stil the best simulator for ships. I had really high hops because of your history but this is very disappointing:(you should buy the ship simulator extreme so you could see how much you are behind of the development. Plus:The ships still think they're propelled as aircraft! Thousands of revs.

Rubbish.The tow-line is still nothing like an actual oneIn the ship inspection scenario, port and starboard are opposite to any ship I've been on!Totally unrealistic acceleration/decelleration.Navigation lights are still visible from astern.On the plus side,.some. corrections have been made - the two ships having been in collision can now be towied into port without them flying or sinking for no reason! - as one example.
