Super Hydorah is a side-scrollingshoot 'em upindie game developed by Locomalito. Midas gold plus cheat. Originally released as freeware in 2010, it later gained a commercial release and was released in 2017 for multiple consoles.
The game follows the Delta Lance, a lone space fighter, as its pilot fights to defeat the evil Meroptian alien race and save humanity. The game received positive reviews, praising its graphics, design and music, while criticizing its game balance and unforgiving difficulty.
The Fortunes – – – first came to prominence and international acclaim in 1965, when “You’ve Got Your Troubles” broke into the US and UK Top 10s. Afterwards, they had a succession of hits including “Here It Comes Again” and “Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again” continuing into the 1970s with more global successful. The Fortunes were an English beat group. Formed in Birmingham, The Fortunes first came to prominence and international acclaim in 1965, when 'You've Got Your Troubles' broke into the American and British Top Ten. Following in the wake of Merseybeat, and the R&B of the Rolling Stones, The Fortunes added another dimension to the sound of pop, with their sophisticated orchestration, dual lead vocals and well worked counter-melodies. The Fortunes were formed in 1961 and were resident at Cliffdon Hall in Rugby where many 60s rockstars formed there career. (Rod Allen, Glen Dale,Barry Pritchard as vocalists. Chris Capaldi as piano player, Gary Fletcher as drummer and Tony Britnell as saxophone player). The fortunes pop group. Originally named The Clifftones, The Fortunes were formed by pop impresario Reg Calvert at his Pop School based at Clifton Hall, in Rugby. They began as a vocal/harmony trio with founding members Rod Allen, Glen Dale, and Barry Pritchard. Unfortunately for the reconstituted band, psychedelia was becoming the dominant sound of British pop music and the squeaky-clean Fortunes were unable to make the transition. A pair of 1966 singles flopped, and the group lost their contract with Decca the following year.

Gameplay[edit]
The gameplay has been compared to Gradius and other classic side-scrolling shooters. The player controls the ship on a side-scrolling plane and can choose between several weapon classes that are divided into main, secondary and special weapon.[1] Each level has a mid-boss and final boss. The game also includes a 2-player co-op mode.[1]
There are 16 stages in the freeware version of the game, and 21 stages in the remaster. The stages are connected with a map and can diverge at points with a second 'true' ending available if the player completes all levels. While the original game limited the amount of saves per playthrough to 5, the remaster allows infinite saves and continues.
Development[edit]
Both the developer and composer of the game reside in Andalusia, Spain.[2] The original game's development took two and a half years.[3] The game's soundtrack was composed by Gryzor87 and resembles that of 16-bit titles.[1]
The game was released as freeware on March 6, 2010 for Microsoft Windows. It was later expanded as the commercial title Super Hydorah and re-released by Abylight Studios on September 20, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. It was released on Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2018.[4]
